The organizer of ‘Rumba Stage with Machito’ Masterclasses (‘Event’) is La Clave De Barrio Barbaro Crespo (‘Organizer’) operating under cooperation with Fundacja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości „Twój StartUp”.
PARTICIPANTS
In the event may participate persons who turned 18 years of age. In the case of participants who are under 18 years of age, it is necessary to send by e-mail to the Organizer a scan of the consent to participate in the Event signed by the legal guardian of the minor participant (for the consent template and more information, please contact office@laclavedebarrio.com).
To participate in the Event, you need to fill the registration form available at https://forms.gle/f46dqw9Bs4uHy4W19 and upon the registration make a payment via bank transfer or PayPal according to the details provided by the Organizer in the follow-up e-mail.
Number of seats in the Event is limited, therefore in the process of registration the final decisive criterion is the date of when the payment was made. Only if you both register and make the payment, you will be included in the participants list for the Event.
Observers, i.e. persons who do not actively participate in the masterclasses, may not participate in the Event, unless they are guardians of the underage participants or persons authorised by the Organizer.
If you register and make the payment but will not be able to participate in the Event, it’s possible for you to transfer your spot to someone else. Finding a replacement is registered participant responsibility, and once found, you need to send via e-mail notification at office@laclavedebarrio.com, so that participants name-list is updated.
There will be two levels of masterclasses available to register on April 15, 2023: medium and advanced. You may register to participate in one or both — accordingly, please select in the registration form and make the payment.
On April 16, 2023, within the Event, there will organized ‘La Rumba’, free of charge for all participants who declare their presence on that day. The Organizer reserves the right to organize ‘La Rumba’ only if at least 10 participants declare they will join it. Confirmation of number of participants will be collected till March 23, 2023, and after this date the Organizer will inform all the registered masterclasses’ participants whether ‘La Rumba’ will take place or not.
Instruments that will be used during the masterclasses are congas. For the medium level masterclasses will be needed 1 conga, and for the advanced level masterclasses will be needed also 1 conga, optionally 2 congas. All confirmed participants will be encouraged to bring own instruments, however if not possible, the Organizer will be able to provide limited number of instruments on ‘first come, first served’ basis — if outside the available instruments pool, more congas may be arranged by the Organizer however it could be a subject of additional fee (app. 12 EUR / 50 PLN). The Organizer will be contacting each confirmed participant to confirm instrument’s availability.
The Organizer will organize space for the masterclasses and ‘La Rumba’. Confirmed participants will receive location details — the Event’s venue will be located in Wrocław, Poland.
Filming during the Event is not allowed. It’s also forbidden to take photos and make audio recordings without the Organizer’s consent. Only after getting the Organizer’s consent, the participants may use the above-mentioned materials and only for private and non-commercial use. Participants will have the right to publish on the Internet, social media, etc., and use only those photos, videos or recordings that the Organizer approves.
The Organizer has the right to exclude from the Event participants who disrupt it’s course or behave inappropriately or inconsistently with these Regulations.
If you register and make the payment (payment confirmation date counts) till March 7, 2023, you will be entitled to 10% discount to regular and package prices of the masterclasses.
Upon registration, within 48h you will receive at the e-mail you provided in the registration form a message from office@laclavedebarrio.com with payment details, bank account number and PayPal (you may make the payment either way).
The Organizer for each participant will issue payment confirmation, or, if requested, an invoice to a company. Participant’s payment confirmation or invoice will be issued with data provided in the registration form.
Due to organizational aspects of the Event, the Organizer does not anticipate refunds, unless the Event is cancelled by the Organizer. However, it’s possible to transfer spot to a different person, as stated above.
PERSONAL DATA & IMAGE PROTECTION
Personal data of the Event’s participants (name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, participant’s image in the form of a photo or video) will be collected and processed by the Organizer, based on the ‘GDPR’ – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 /WE (general regulation on the protection of personal data). The above personal data will be used to organize the Event.
Personal data of the Event’s participants will also be processed by the Organizer for the purpose of sending information about the Organizer’s future events, publishing information on social networking sites, online galleries and/or other publications. Participants have the right to access and correct their personal data. Expressing this consent to the processing of personal data is voluntary.
By participating in the Event, the Participant confirms that he/she agrees to the free processing of his/her personal data by the Organizer, in order to conduct the Event, as well as to send information about the Organizer’s future events, publish information on social networking sites, online galleries and/or other publications, in accordance with the provisions on the protection of personal data. At the same time, the participant declares that he/she is aware of his right to withdraw this consent at any time by sending an e-mail to office@laclavedebarrio.com and submitting a request to withdraw the said consent to the processing of personal data. The expression of this consent is voluntary.
FINAL PROVISIONS
The Organizer is not responsible for the Event’s participants’ belongings left unattended and/or for any material losses of the participants during the Event, not directly by fault of the Organizer.
By participating in the Event, each participant declares that he/she takes part in the Event voluntarily and at own responsibility, is aware of the safety rules and committed to complying with them, and is aware that the Organizer is not obliged to provide additional accident insurance, and declares that he/she will not bring complaints or claims for damages or possible damage to health caused by any activity performed during the Event against the Organizer.
If the Event’s participant causes any losses to the Organizer or other participants, he/she will bear full responsibility.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the date of the Event or cancel it in case of insufficient number of registered participants or for other reasons beyond the Organizer’s control. In case of the Event’s cancellation, a full refund of the participants’ payments will be made within up to 14 days. The Organizer will inform the participants immediately about any changes.
When registering for the Event, you’ll need to acknowledge getting familiar with the ‘Rumba Stage with Machito’ masterclasses’ Regulations and agree to conditions stated in them. Only when acknowledged and agreed, the Organizer will accept the registration of a participant.
